Amanda was born and raised in Southern California. She knew from a young age that working with children, more specifically babies, was her passion. She started her career working with infants and children over 17 years ago. In the past she has worked as a preschool teacher, daycare provider and as a career nanny. Today, Amanda is the proud owner of Tiny Treasures Newborn Care, Inc. She started this California business to better serve families all over Los Angeles, as both a Newborn Care Specialist and Infant Sleep Consultant/Trainer.
Amanda takes great pride in her education. She feels it is of the utmost importance to stay up to date in all aspects of her field, so she can continue to pass on the latest information to her clients.
Amanda is always looking for new learning opportunities in her fields of expertise. Amanda is a trained Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, and Lactation Educator. She is also a certified Infant Sleep Consultant, Infant Massage Educator, Happiest Baby On The Block Educator and a member of the INA.
Amanda has a nurturing, loving nature and she brings a sense of calm and comfort to new families. She loves to share her knowledge and experience with parents as they adjust to life with a new baby. Through loving care, nurturing advice and hands on support, Amanda can help make this special time in your life, a little less stressful. She is able to assist you with any number of challenges and answer questions faced during this time.
Amanda has a great deal of experience working with preemies, both tongue and lip ties, GERD and colic. Are you expecting multiples, this is Amanda’s specialty. No matter what challenge you face, Amanda will walk beside you every step of the way. Her goal is to make the transition from your babies birth through the first few months of your babies life more peaceful and relaxed for the entire family. Amanda will help you to become more confident and comfortable as parents.
